Based in Corinth, NY, the Corinth Theatre Guild was formed in the mid-1900's, growing from the efforts of the Catholic Daughters’ Minstrel Shows, which put on many productions for the public’s enjoyment in the Corinth area. They formally organized and incorporated as a
Not-For-Profit 501(c)(3) corporation in 1978. The Corinth Theatre Guild seeks to become an integral part of the area’s economic revitalization, offering year-round productions, programs and events.

Our Mission
Founded in 1978 through the efforts of Vincent Morreale, Mildred Butler, Ruth Jackson, Joe Barron, Richard Baker, Betty Bogle, Betty Saunders, and others, Corinth Theatre Guild is a not-for-profit community theatre company located in Northern Saratoga County.
Ours is a multi-faceted mission; to bring high-quality theatre to the Corinth area; develop new plays, revues, and musicals; find fresh, original ways to introduce new audiences into the theatre; and also to give the Corinth Community Cupboard and its visitors a welcoming home at 6 Fourth Street in Corinth.

Theatre and Building
The building is owned by the Corinth Theatre Guild, Inc. and is located at 6 Fourth Street in Corinth. It was originally home to the Gill and Towers Dairy. The Guild purchased the building from the Hudson River Credit Union and has served as the Guild’s rehearsal, meeting space and theatre for many years, bringing the community shows including “Guys and Dolls,” “Meet Me in St. Louis,” “Hello Dolly," "Bus Stop" and many revues to area stages.
We are home to the “Corinth Community Cupboard” a ministry of the Corinth Community Churches.
The food pantry is available to Any Corinth School District Resident. Their hours of operation are posted on the front door.
Through the efforts of Fred Koch, Lloyd Murdoch, John Dittmar, and the Hudson River Community Credit Union , our capital improvements to the building and theatre continue. We are still holding a Capital Improvement Campaign. A new roof and interior improvements are on our wish list. All donations are tax deductible.
